Alrighty.

So, I know it's been awhile. I just didn't really feel like updating. BUT here I am now.

Work:

Work has been alright, surprisingly, except that everyone and their mother wants me to cover their shift. Which is not going to happen. Since when I need a shift cover no one wants the cover it sooo they can STFU. I also found out that the minimum wage $8.00 and I'm getting paid $7.75 haha. I got that fix, i'm suppose to receive a payback check soon.

School:

hmm it's actually going pretty good. I'm really enjoying all my classes, not a lot of work. People aren't that bad also. I think it might be a pretty good semster.

Sleep

It felt like my eyelids weighed two tons each. I tried staying up in my algebra and history class. I didn't fall asleep though! I believe one of the reasons why I couldn't stay up in math, other than the fact it was math, is because it was dim. I really don't understand the lighting in the classes. I'm not exactly sure if I mentioned in my last entry or not, BUT the lights are terrible. I have to squint! Not because I have terrible eyesight, because I actually adjust to the lighting. I believe all class rooms should have sunlight in the room, but that causes a problem there because it'd just the whole architecture of it and having no actual classes in the middle of the building.

Ugh

At work we started a new schedule, by the time September hits we will have six receptionist. Basically, two transferred from a different location and we have two new people. This means less hours for me, which I don't mind really because in all honestly, I'd rather just focus on school. I had to work 8:45am to 5 pm, and it went by really slow. For the first time in months I actually feel exhausted. I guess this whole different sleeping pattern is hitting me already.

Starting next week is Ramadan, I'm kinda not looking forward for it just because it will be long days, and we'd have to wait longer to eat. I guess it will help me shed a few pounds but I'm not betting money on it. Also, a couple of concerts are going to be going on during September so I don't know how that will work out.

Fuck, I am so tired.

I'll attempt to update more often. I know I know, it's been like 3 months since my last post.

A lot of things happened during the summer just to sum it up here are the memorable things:

Today was the first day of school, again. My second year at TCC, that doesn't mean I am considered a sophomore though, nope nope nope I'm still a freshman. This year, like I say every year, I am going to get my things straighten up and actually try I really just want to leave TCC but thing that's holding me back is that I have no direction in where or what I should do/go. I just hope I wont be in there for long. My list of all the classes that I have to take is getting short though, so by the time once summer hits I'll have a couple more courses to take and I'm out.

I 've come to the conclusion that like the day before school starts the teachers gather up for a meeting and work on their " first day speech" in where they practice introducing themselves and how the want to see their students to succeed. So by the third class I just wanted to go to sleep, or maybe it was because the lighting in the room was so dim. I don't know, either way, it was the same speech and it was boring.

I spent about $380 dollars on books, and I am for sure going to resale them after the semester is over. My computer science class has this book required and its as heavy as a little baby. It's ridiculous. As for the other books they aren't that bad, I need to purchase a backpack as well. I really want to get a roller backpack but I think I'd just look stupid rolling it along but I mean, shit, the books are heavy. I don't want to risk having back problems because of that.

So, this is my blog.

I've been wanting on of these for awhile just for my random thoughts to be out. I guess it will help me clear my mind, since a lot of things are going on around me. I don't know if I'll be able to keep this up for a long time though, I guess I'll see how it goes.
